In light of the coronavirus pandemic and the public health advice for families and children to stay at home, Hideaway Pizza is launching its inaugural Home Film Festival.

Fans of pizza and films are invited to write a script, grab a cell phone and get filming. Contestants should include Hideaway Pizza somehow in their video, such as using their stash of Hideaway cups, a T-shirt or a pizza box.

Hideaway Pizza will be awarding free pizza for a year and other prizes to those who enter by posting their creative videos to social media and tagging the company, according to a news release.

“We know there are plenty of people out there in need of things to keep them occupied at this time. We wanted to give them some fun things to do that they can do alone or with the others they are staying at home with so no one goes too stir crazy,” Janie Harris, marketing director, in a statement.
