Isabella and Audrianna Blanchard were last seen March 20 in Russellville, Kentucky, according to the amber alert.

They may be in a black 2014 Ford Escape with Florida license plate #eclause.

Susan Blanchard, the grandmother and legal guardian of the twins, told authorities that her daughter, Neely Blanchard came to visit the twins Friday at her home, then took the twins to a friend's residence in Dawson Springs, Kentucky.

Susan Blanchard contacted Neely and told her to bring the twins back to the residence, but she failed to do so, according to the release. A friend living in Dawson Springs, said Neely hasn't been seen or heard from since Monday.

Susan Blanchard told authorities she believes that Neely may be heading to South Carolina, where her 11-year-old daughter lives with her grandmother and she may try to take her as well.

Neely has a history of mental illness, further compounded by the coronavirus pandemic, authorities said. She has a handgun and is a self-proclaimed sovereign citizen, meaning she does not believe the U.S. government has authority over her.
